Dr. Maria and the entire staff at Philadelphia Pediatric Dentistry are just amazing! They have the best possible rapport with children and have a way of putting them at ease in a stressful situation. My daughter was beside herself when she knocked a tooth out recently and as soon as she stepped through the doors she calmed down and knew she was going to be taken care of. If you are looking for a dentist for your amazing kiddos this is the place! The office is super convenient, centrally located and absolutely beautiful, as well!

As a mom, pediatric dentist, biomedical engineer, and dental school faculty member, Dr. Maria offers families a uniquely tailored approach to children's dental care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete her specialized Pediatric Dentistry Residency at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a deep commitment to promoting children’s oral health through nutrition, wellness, prevention, and a focus that includes lactation and infant oral health support. Dr. Maria has extensive pediatric experience in treating children of all ages and has taught hundreds of dental students and residents as a faculty member at Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Home Life
Beyond serving families, Dr. Maria is a joyful wife and mother of 2 living in the Art Museum neighborhood. She feels gratitude for living in Philadelphia today and loves exploring the museums and green spaces with her family and neighbors. She finds her wellness in saltwater while swimming at the Jersey shore, her tears while watching heartfelt family comedies, and her sweat from hot yoga sessions.
